  • When Is Rent Due?

    Rent is due on the 1st of every month.

    Late fees may apply for payments received after the 5th of the month. 

  • Do You Have Emergency Housing?

    Drumright Housing Authority does not provide emergency shelter, but we have preferences and referrals for certain situations (e.g., natural disasters or family violence). Call our office to inquire about emergency support options.

  • Do You Accept Section 8?

    We currently (do / do not) accept Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers. Contact our office for more information. 

  • What Is Considered an After-Hours Maintenance Emergency?

    • No heat during cold weather
    • No air conditioning during extreme heat
    • Major water leaks or flooding
    • Sewage backups
    • Electrical hazards or power outages
    • Gas odors
    • Fire damage
    • Broken exterior doors or locks affecting security

  • Deposits & Rates

    Security deposits are required before moving into a housing unit. Deposit amounts may vary depending on the unit type and housing program. These deposits help cover potential damages or unpaid balances when a resident moves out. Specific deposit amounts and rental rates will be discussed during the lease signing process. If you have questions about current rates or deposit requirements, please contact the Drumright Housing Authority office.

  • Income Limits

    Income limits are established by federal housing guidelines and are used to determine eligibility for housing assistance programs. Eligibility is based on total household income and the number of individuals living in the household. These limits may change annually, so applicants are encouraged to contact the office to confirm the current income requirements before applying.

  • When Is Rent Due?

    Rent payments are due on the first day of each month. Residents are encouraged to submit payments on time to avoid late fees or additional charges. If the first falls on a weekend or holiday, payments should be made on the next business day unless otherwise stated in the lease agreement. If you anticipate difficulty making a payment, please contact the housing office as soon as possible.

  • Do You Accept Emergency Housing?

    Emergency housing availability depends on current unit availability and program guidelines. In some cases, applicants experiencing urgent housing needs may still be required to complete the standard application process and join the waiting list. Residents seeking emergency housing assistance should contact the Drumright Housing Authority office for guidance and available resources.

  • Do You Accept Section 8?

    Housing programs and assistance options vary depending on program funding and availability. If you currently have a Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8), please contact the Drumright Housing Authority office to determine whether units are available that accept voucher assistance.

  • What Is Considered an After-Hours Maintenance Emergency?

    After-hours maintenance emergencies are issues that pose an immediate safety risk or could cause serious damage to the property if not addressed quickly.


    Examples of emergencies include:


    • Fire or smoke damage

    • Broken water lines or major flooding

    • Broken exterior door locks that prevent the unit from being secured

    • No air conditioning during extreme heat

    • No heat during freezing weather


    If you experience an emergency outside of normal office hours, please contact the Emergency Maintenance Line immediately.


    For non-emergency maintenance issues, residents should contact the office during normal business hours.
